Jr. Developer Python / Javascript
We are looking for young, passionate and creative developers who are eager to improve their skills in the security platform development field. They will learn from and work side-by-side with a team of experienced Python developers and engineers who are working on one of the most sophisticated security solutions available in the infusec industry, the Security Platform. Key activities and responsibilities: • Contribute to the development of Onapsis software solutions. • Create back-end and front-end automated test cases. • Work collaboratively within a team of designers and engineers to iterate towards product definition. Be ready to speak your mind, but also commit to team direction. • Follow quality engineering processes to deliver high quality products and services. • Work closely with security and IT professionals to ensure safe and secure systems architectures. Required skills and aptitudes: • At least 1-2 years programming / coding / hacking with Python • A good understanding of Python syntax and grammar • Excellent reasoning and logic skills • A strong desire to learn • A desire to deliver excellent quality results through rigorous testing and attention to detail • Willingness to learn and adhere to software engineering principles, life cycle, and best practices • Exceptional problem-solving skills • Ability to learn a new industry and technology quickly • Ability to work both independently and in teams • Strong self-management skills, initiative, and ability to juggle multiple disparate projects Desired skills and aptitudes: • Experience with Javascript, and Javascript frameworks (Backbone, JQuery). • Experience developing under Linux environments. • Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development). • Familiar with security and networking protocols. • Intermediate English skills (written). |
